Tulips in a Jug with Shells and Sea Glass has a collection of tulips which are combined with shells and sea glass from a nearby beach. The tulips keep growing after being picked, bending towards the window. The shells symbolise the transcience of beauty while the sea glass has spent an unknown amount of time being tumbled by the North Sea. The contrast is of ephemeral beauty with timeless journeys.
